Bertie was discovered busking in Birmingham City Centre by visiting Los Angeles record producer Stevie Duce, who immediately saw the worldwide potential of his infectious lyrics, which were perfectly suited to the lucrative ringtone market. Bertie was quickly signed by Mr Duce and whisked over to LA, where his first song entitled “What’s Your Game?” became the biggest selling ringtone in history. Bertie then went on to international stardom and has charted his rise to fame and his eventual fall from grace with his sensational album “The Rise and Fall of Birmingham Bertie”.
